Santry Sports Athletics Finals

Over the course of three days during the end of May and early June, a group of boys and girls represented St. Peter's N.S. at the annual Santry Sports competition. Our students were competing in indiviudal sprints, long distance races, relays, hurdles and the shot putt. The level of competition was very high but our boys and girls competed admirably with some of our pupils achieving glory in individual completitions while one of our relay teams finished in second place. Thanks to all of our pupils who trained over the past few months and to their two coaches Ms. A. Horan and Ms. H. Horan. Thanks also to Ms. Quinn who supervised some of the last sessions before the competition.

A huge number of pupils from St. Peter's attended and we had a number of pupils who did very well. Congratulations to all of our pupils who ran in extremely cold conditions. Thanks to Ms. A.
