On Sunday, 12th of May, St. Peter's Church was the venue for the celebration of the First Holy Communion Ceremony. Fr. Aidan was the main celebrant on the day as our boys and girls in 2nd class were dressed up 'to the nines!!' We were fortunate that the weather was fine and our pupils could celebrate in glorious sunshine. Thanks to the two class teachers, Ms. A. Quinn and Ms. Moore, Ms. Quinn (who directed the wonderful choir) and Ms. Ryan who directed the fantastic tin whistle ensemble. We also had a marvellous end of ceremony performance from our chamber orchestra. A special word of thanks to the pupils themselves who read excellently, sang beautifully and prayed reverently throughout the ceremony. Thanks to our parents/guardians and helpers in the church who provided tea and coffee and prepared the church spectacularly. All of the hard work paid off  in the end and 'Mary' herself would have been proud!!!!
