It was marvellous to welcome the parents/guardians of our 6th class boys and girls as they graduated from St. Peter's N.S. on Wednesday, 22nd of June. Our school yard was packed as Fr. Devlin opened proceedings with a few questions to keep the boys and girls on their toes. Mr. Ryan also said a few words before both Ms. Carroll and Ms. O' Connor presented the boys and girls with their class photograph, school medal and Graduation certificate. Pupils from both classes recited their memories of St. Peter's before everyone convened to the hall for refreshments. A special word of thanks to Fr. Devlin, to Derek and Debbie (as well as our helpers in 6th class) for preparing the yard and tidying up afterwards. To Ms. O' Connor's 6th class students for the hall displays and to the SNAs for preparing the hall and tidying up afterwards. To Barbara (our former secretary) for ordering the medals/photographs and preparing the certificates. To all the class teachers/support teachers our boys and girls were lucky to have over the past eight years and of course to their fantastic 6th class teachers (Ms. Carroll and Ms. O Connor) who have prepared them so well for their onward life journey.
