After school activities- November 2024
Here is the list of after-school programmes/clubs/initiatives running from now until the end of the term. We understand that we are not giving as much notice to parents as we would like. The main reason for this is due to the substantial amount of work we had to do in preparation for our Whole School Evaluation last month and the need to get the after-school programmes running as soon as possible after the mid-term break.
The following are a list of after school activities with a fee attached for parents. Please contact the teachers/staff members directly (they will have provided you with dedicated email addresses on permission slips) with regard to fee paying programmes/activities and not the office.
There will be no Thursday clubs on Thursday, 21st of November due to Parent/Teacher Meetings
- Lego Club for 1stto 3rd class will run for 12 weeks, started on September 9th (from 2:30-3:30) led by Ms. Doran and Ms. McGrath.
- Tin Whistle for 3rdto 6th class begins on Tuesday, 12th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 5 weeks with Ms. Concannon and Miss Kirrane. Tuesday, 12th of November is a carry-over lesson.
- STEM club for 2ndto 4th class starts on Thursday, 7th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 5 weeks with Ms. Kirrane and Ms. Concannon.
- Art Club for 4thto 6th class begins on Thursday 14th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Mr. McConigley and Sally (SNA).
- Art Club for 1st to 3rd class begins on Monday, 11th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Sally (SNA) and Miss Vaughan
- Chess and Board Games for 2ndto 6th class starting on Tuesday, 12th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Ms. Hughes (HSCL) and Sally (SNA)
- Soccer Club for 2nd- 4thclass starting on Thursday, 14th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks with Ms. Tierney and Ms. McCabe
- Pokemon Club for 1st-4th classes starting on Tuesday, 12th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks led by Ms. McGrath and Ms. Doran
- Club Gaeilge for 3rd-6th classes starting on Monday, 11th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 6 weeks led by Ms. McGrath and Ms. Vaughan
- Digital Learning Club for 5th and 6th classes starting on Thursday, 28th of November (from 2:30-3:30) for 8 weeks led by Ms. McDermott and Ms. Brosnan
- Drama classes for Junior and Senior Infants from 1:30-2:15 and 1st/2nd classes from 2:30-3:30pm continue with Paula for the remainder of the school term. She will be in contact with parents.
