During the month of July, Grainne and her team from Creative Connections invested over two weeks of their time to create three incredible pieces of art work.
The first mural is in the school hall and details (in beautiful, vibrant colours) the qualities that students and staff in our school possess.
The second mural is a two part dedication to our close proximity to Bohemians Football Club (an enormous Bohs. logo at one end of the yard with a stunningly crafted mural of a young girl in her club jersey at the entrance doors).
The final piece of the work completed in July is an enormously expansive and aesthetically pleasing mural depicting a scene from Star Wars.
All of the work were borne from our students’ suggestions and ideas.
We hope the second part of the mural works can be completed in 2022.
We will be undertaking some fundraising events in 2021 in order to provide sponsorship for the completed and future works.
