On Saturday, 6th of May, we celebrated our First Holy Communion Ceremony in St. Peter’s Church. It was a beautiful day. Our 33 boys and girls sang beautifully, behaved impeccably, performed brilliantly and were a credit to their families and themselves.
A sincere word of thanks and appreciation to Fr. Devlin and the staff of St. Peter’s church, Claire Harrington (pastoral worker), Ms. Vaughan (RE co-ordinator) Debbie and Ruth and our wonderful 2nd class teachers Ms. Concannon and Ms. Kirrane. A special thanks also to our amazing choir, soloist Ana da Silva and our choir directors- Ms. Danaher, Ms. Kirrane and Ms. Gavaghan. Thanks also to Collette (our secretary) for producing the booklets, preparing the certificates and decorating the church beautifully.
Of course, congratulations to our boys and girls as they continue on their faith formation journey.
