Friendly Olympic Handball matches with Glasnevin NS in preparation for Dublin qualifiers on the 6th of December.

On Tuesday, 5th of December, we welcomed 35 pupils from Glasnevin NS (3rd-6th classes) along with their class teacher and principal Ms. Walsh. We arranged a number of friendly Olympic Handball matches involving the 3rd and 4th class pupils of Glasnevin NS, our boys, girls and mixed teams. Our mixed team took a while to get out of the blocks and drew 1-1 in the end. Our girls team achieved a narrow 1-0 victory and our boys team played well to register a 8-1 victory over Glasnevin NS. We are getting ready to head to the Dublin qualifying rounds tomorrow (Wednesday, 6th of December) where our girls will face both Rush NS and Kilkoskan NS. Only the top team in the group will qualify for the Dublin finals. In the boys side of the draw, we will face Rush NS, Kilkoskan NS and Scoil Bhríde, Blanchardstown. Our mixed team is also in the boys' side of the draw. The top two teams in the boys' side of the draw will qualify for the Dublin Finals in the new year.
