Great news in Dublin Spelling Bee

We are so proud of Gabriel (Ms. Beirne’s 5th class) for coming 3rd overall in the Dublin Spelling Bee finals on the 26th of March. There were 33 schools represented from all across the county. To finish third (getting to Round 8) is an incredible achievement given that the majority of the pupils he competed against were in 6th class.  Well done. Thanks also to Ms. McGrath for organising the Spelling Bee heats in the run up to the finals.
