Intercultural Day
Intercultural Day – Thursday 15th June 2023
In St. Peter’s N.S., we are all very conscious that we have children from many different backgrounds, countries and religions but to us they are all part of our happy and vibrant school family.
Intercultural Day allows us the opportunity to learn more about the children’s own cultures and traditions and to welcome parents into the school. It also provides a break from the usual classroom work, allowing the children to be more creative.
With that in mind, we held a whole-school ‘Intercultural Day’ on Thursday 15th June 2023, to celebrate our unique differences while coming together as one – “We are all Citizens of the World!”
As part of our celebrations, all parents were invited into the school to sample some food and enjoy some performances by pupils in our school.
The photographs speak for themselves. It was a wonderful day. Thanks to all involved. It was much appreciated.
