We had such a great day celebrating all of the beautiful cultures in our classroom. For Intercultural day, each class chooses to learn about one Country that is in our class. We were focusing on learning about Mexico.
We also talked about the different cultures in our classroom and how to say hello in the different languages.
We dressed up in our traditional clothing or Countries colours. We went on an Intercultural trail around the school learning about the different countries other classes focused on and we filled in our Intercultural passport. We also decorated our classroom.
We ate some delicious food that all of our parents so graciously sent into school. We also sent some down to the hall to be shared with the parents. We are so grateful for all of the effort families put in to making the day extra special for the kids. Thank you to all of the parents for sending in all of the beautiful food.
