We are delighted to announce that St. Peter's recently raised over 834Euro as part of Trócaire's annual Lenten campaign. The school also raised almost 400-Euro during our recent Scholastic Book Fair. 60% of the total funds made will be used to purchase free books for each class library- a fantastic gift for all of our pupils.
Juno Broderick in Ms. Carroll's 6th class has been offered a place in the DYO (Dublin Youth Orchestra)- well done Juno- a fantastic achievement. Juno is a very talented violinist and has been playing for a number of years.
Past pupil- Ernestas Stefanavicius claimed first prize in the Castleknock Music Festival on the 25th of May. Ernestas is an accomplished cellist who started on the cello when he was in 4th class in St. Peter's and progressed to our school orchestra shortly after taking up the instrument. He is also a member of the RIAM (Royal Irish Academy of Music) junior orchestra.
