Parental correspondence- Tuesday 3rd of November
Dear parent/guardian,
Dublin City Council have informed us that they will be carrying out road resurfacing works on St Peter's Road from Thursday, 5th of November until Friday, 13th of November. Work on weekdays will take place between 7:30p.m. and 6:00a.m. Weekend works will take place between 8:00a.m and 5:00p.m.
Unfortunately, this means that our beautiful coloured circled and possibly (our pencil bollards) will have to be removed while the road resurfacing is taking place. I have been informed that these will be out back in place once the work is complete. As you can understand, the school is greatly frustrated with this development but the works are progressing nonetheless.
Since the road re-resurfacing will take place outside of school hours, the disruptions will be limited but I have been informed that there will be a Stop and Go system in place while the works take place and that cars are not to park on the road during the times stated above.
In relation to parent teacher meetings
- School will officially close earlier on the Wednesday, 25th and Thursday, 26th of November.
- School starting/opening times will remain the same as usual.
- Normal closing times on Monday, 23rd, Tuesday, 24th and Friday 26th of November.
The earlier closing times for all classes are as follows on the 25th and 26th of November. Please collect your child on time as meetings will be scheduled to start after school on those days. Class/support teachers will be in touch with you in relation to scheduling parent/teacher meetings.
Pupils will exit the building via. their normal exit point. As there may be some congestion, please social distance outside the school as much as possible.
