St. Peter's to perform in the Peace Proms concert on the 4th of February 2024

We are delighted to announce that our application to participate in Peace Proms 2024 has been accepted. There are over 200 schools on a waiting list to be accepted still so we are extremely lucky to be amongst the 600 schools in Ireland to be involved in such an amazing event. 

Peace Proms is FREE music education resource which brings the magic of music to almost 35,000 children in 700 primary schools across Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Peace Proms is more than just a music program – it promotes ‘peace through music’ and empowers young minds to make a positive impact on the world around them. The highlight of the program is our spectacular large-scale production featuring up to 3,000 choir members and our full symphony youth orchestra, all coming together in iconic venues throughout Ireland and Northern Ireland.

Whether your school choir is already established or just starting out, Peace Proms is tailor-made for children aged 8-12 years. We ensure that the musical program is engaging, educational, and above all, fun! And the end result is nothing short of awe-inspiring – an unforgettable experience for everyone involved, from the choir members and their teachers to parents and audiences alike.

Presented by the renowned Cross Border Orchestra of Ireland (CBOI), Peace Proms 2024 will bring together children from all over Ireland and Northern Ireland to sing for peace and a better world; spreading joy, hope, and positivity to all.
