Literacy week took place in our school from February 27th to March 3rd. We had a ball!
- Older classes engaged in shared reading with younger pupils.
- Irish author Anthony Garvey visited 4 classes on 3rd March.
- A book cover art competition.
- We all dressed up for World Book Day.
- Both Ms McGrath's and Ms Horan's 4th classes wrote, edited and published a class book.
- Parents of infant children came to school to read to classes.
Well done to all our school community for making this such a fun and memorable Literacy week! A special thank you to Ms McGrath and Ms Mitchell for all their work in organising literacy week.
